| Text of Note | Роман Гонсалеса "Танцоры с бамбуком" стоит несколько особняком среди остальных его произведений. Но выделяет его не стиль, а скорее тематика. Гонсалес впервые в своем творчестве выходит за рамки описания чисто филиппинского бытия, хотя оно все время, порой незримо, присутствует в его романе. Ибо взгляд, который герой романа, скульптор Эрни Рама, бросает на чуждую ему действительность, подобен лучу, преломленному в призме. Этой призмой и являются бытие и самосознание филиппинца.<br/>Отображение двух миров и общественных настроений: американского и японского после атомной трагедии глазами путешествующего филиппинца. |
